Starbynary is one of top of the class bands of the Italian power progressive metal scene. The band takes after the gamut of classic progressive metal bands, the riffs and surrounding musical components in their vision of music actually dare to be varied and profound. After releasing “Dark Passenger” in 2014 and “Divina Commedia - Inferno” in 2016 and “Divina Commedia - Purgatorio” in 2019, now it’s the time for the new album “Divina Commedia – Paradiso”, with the important news represented by the entry of Ralph Salati (Destrage) in the band. This album is the end of the trilogy dedicated to the concept on the masterpiece “Divina Commedia” by Dante Alighieri. The music is full of colors and shades, inside Starbynary have used languages from many types of musical styles, in a mix that has characterized the band's music in these years. “Divina Commedia – Paradiso” will be released worldwide November 13th through Art Gates Records. Although I hadn't had the chance to review the two previous chapters, I followed this transposition into music and was actually curious to listen to the final part. It could only be epochal, after all, to carry on such a project requires mastery and a basic concept that does not deviate from the narrative work. The band has skilfully written and interpreted the eleven tracks that make up the album, starting from the opener "The Moon”, the first track extracted, good melodies and that inspired sense of celestiality that all the work actually communicates. The pure class of Starbynary is highlighted in the artistic totality but particularly accentuated in pieces such as “Syellae Fixae”, with a brilliant Sebastiano Zanotto on bass and the powerful drums of Alfonso Mocerino. “Primum Mobile”, this track is one of my absolute favourites for the sumptuousness it transmits, and “The Empyrean” in which Joe Caggianelli's voice, which blends well with the musicality, manages to transport elsewhere, in a parallel world. Ralph Salati  on guitars is excellent, such as Luigi Accardo’ keyboards. “Divina Commedia: Paradiso” is definitely well composed, the fusion of classical  music and with metal has been very successful. Highly recommended for those who love epic and prog structures.
