The music copyright and the artists' protection are the main parts of a label has to deal with.
The free streaming is ruining the promotion of new albums which can unfortunately be found everywhere and downloaded for free, ruining an important income of the artists. The basis of a label is to protect the musicians of their roster from what has become the way to acquire, without paying, more music from the users.
While free streaming could increase the number of listeners, it is at the expense of bands and sold copies of CDs.

Rockers And Other Animals Records is born with the intent to give more transparency possible to the bands of the work done, the copies sold in both physical and digital form.

Considering both the experience in webzines, and the managerial experience, Rockers And Other Animals Records has the goal not to subdivide into sublabels with related metal subgenres, to enrich their roster, but rather
give a fair promotional support in the launch of albums, support their bands with a homogeneous promotion, knowing how hard is the work behind every single record.
