The Sunburst are an Alternative Metal band with Alternative Rock and Post-Grunge influences. Starting from his debut, in 2014 with 'Tear Off The Darkness', the original quartet from Savona has engaged in an intense live activity and has shared the stage together with artists of national and international fame such as PrimalFear, Punkreas, Alteria, Kutso , Richie Ramone and others and then embark on a European headlining tour that has made stops in Italy, Austria, Slovakia, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania and Czech Republic. In 2017 work begins for Resilience & Captivity, the band's second record effort.
The band returns after the debut album "Tear Off The Darkness", with which they then played the European stages. Matured musically, the group presents the new album “Resilience & Captivity”, via Italian label Volcano Records.
Modern hard rock for this album, in which the intro “Resilience”, leads into the heart of the band’ sounds and it does it with “Crows and Dust
”, with hints to the prog and brilliant metal guitars
“Diamond” is on the same line with great rhythms and
a clean voice, good sound and an endearing refrain.
Beautiful the short “Breeze” and the follower “What If”, full of emotions and feeling.
A guitar in crescendo the short track “Captivity”
, gloomy and prog the follower “World On Fire
” just like “Ashes
”, while “Phoenix” is an explosion of prog, metal and rock, the first single released from this album.
"Eternal Life" to conclude this work, Jeff Buckley’ cover, nothing to say, a cover fits perfectly.
“Resilience & Captivity” is a good album, may too short but this band deserve attentions for its music and compositions, surely this album will be appreciated by everyone who loves good music.
