The Canadian band The Dead Centuries presents “Race Against Time Full” an incredible instrumental album, self-released on January 2018. A courageous move by these musicians, I would say apt and
pleasantly surprising. Courageous because we’re used to a metal sung, a voice that highlights their qualities, accompanied by music. Well, this interesting trio is different, The Dead Centuries
focus attention on their musicality composition and they did it in the best way. Very interesting this album, “Race Against Time Full” is an atypical heavy metal album, this work is a
concentrated of great music.
It’s difficult to enclose this group in a single metal genre, as in their songs switch easily from the old school metal to the symphonic, from the progressive to the epic genre and this musical
intertwining make the album very, very interesting. In the all compositions is evident the artistic preparation of each single elements of the band.
Absolutely great is the piece “Gotham ” in which guitars they seem to battle with notes of one another, huge melodies and the beautiful end with a piano.
This album requires a lot of attention to perceive the right harmony created by the band, really a very interesting album “Race Against Time Full”, The Dead Centuries have created such a good
