Love Ghost is a genre-bending Alternative Rock band from Los Angeles, CA. Whether it be their Emo/Trap song “I’ll be “fine” (currently featured on the official Spotify playlist “Alternative Beats”, over 2.1 million views on YouTube), their in your face Hard Rock/trap song “Let It All Burn” (featured on the Official Spotify Playlist “New Noise” for 4 months, 2 official Apple Music Playlists- “Breaking Hard Rock” and “Fresh Blood”), Or their punk cover of the Japanese Classic “Uewo Muite Arukō” (which they sing in Japanese- included on the official Pandora Playlist “New Punk Now”), the band enjoys pushing the boundaries of Rock with some Hip Hop mixed in.
The band was formed by front man Finnegan Bell (guitar and vocals) when he was 13 years old. The line-up features Ryan Stevens (bass), Samson Young (drums), Daniel Alcala (guitar) and Corey Batchler (keyboards). The band has toured Ireland, Japan and Ecuador.
Pillz (The Sky Is Falling) mixes trap beats, hard rock and rap.
Here is how the band describes it: “This song is about addiction, but more specifically how everything can look as if it is positive on the outside but in reality, it is not. It is really about perseverance and resilience when your life is falling apart”
The song was produced by Danny Saber (The Rolling Stones, Public Enemy, David Bowie).
Between electro, rock and rap the new single from Love Ghost. It never ceases to surprise this band which apparently intends to take rock to the limit to give this genre new vitality. Excellent sound production as always. So much appeal in this song that alternates melodic passages that marry with other more roaring ones. The guitar solo towards the end of the piece is superb, how can we fail to notice it. The beginning of the song is also wonderful with the beat that is introduced and breaks the ice.
The word “cool” seems to have been invented by someone who usually listens to Love Ghost songs ….
