Edinburgh-based progressive metal band Tiberius have announced the release date of their upcoming debut LP in June of this year, to be accompanied by three singles. The first single, Swansong, already dropped last week on April 3rd, accompanied by a video which you can check out on YouTube or over on their Facebook page. The second single is scheduled for an early May release with the third and final single arriving in June before the full album drops. Album pre-orders are available via their bandcamp page and pre-saves for streaming services will be available in a month or so.
The Album is mixed and mastered by Meyrick De La Fuente (Exist Immortal, Godeater, Derange and Vexed) of Floodgate Audio and will include 10 tracks spanning approximately 54 minutes.
The Tracklisting is:
The New Subjugation
Quote from the band -
"This album has been inspired by real-world events to create songs which deal with broad themes and social issues. While we've taken inspiration from our musical peers and heroes, we feel we have now established our own true identity. It's been an exciting journey that we can't wait to share with everyone!"
Tiberius had planned to compliment their release with a small run of shows with Shattered Skies including the Novena Album launch in London, but unfortunately these plans have been cancelled due to the ongoing Covid-19 crisis. Plans are in motion to reschedule for later in the year, in addition to playing UK Tech-Metal Fest in July and RADAR festival in August should they go forward. More dates are to be announced so keep an eye on social media, including Facebook and Instagram. You can currently stream their new single Swansong on all major platforms.
