CREST OF DARKNESS, veterans of the Black Norwegian scene, present a new song called "The Child With No Head". This is the first track from the new album "The God Of Flesh" that will be released
on December 6 and is now streaming on YouTube.
Ingar Amlien, the band's long-time black soul, commented as follows: "Here we are, yet another new chapter in the book of CREST OF DARKNESS... It's probably one of the most violent and extreme tracks we've ever written in our career. Turn up the volume and you'll be flooded by its sense of absolute lack of hope and light.
"The God Of Flesh" promises nine satanic themed tracks typical trademark of CREST OF DARKNESS. But this time the band has expanded the variety and depth of their music, showing that they are at
ease with progressive and melodic elements, as they are with the aggressive, dark and brutal side, for which they are known.
"This is probably the darkest and most brutal album we've ever made! It's also the most honest work from my point of view. This is the comment of Ingar Amlien, founder of CREST OF DARKNESS on "The God Of Flesh", the Norwegian band's ninth album.
"The God Of Flesh" will be available in digipakCD, Deluxe Edition, Vinyl and Digital formats and is now available for pre-order HERE.
The cover was made by Marius Engli Andersson while the complete tracklist is as follows:
1. The God Of Flesh
2. The Child With No Head
