loodgod Launches New Music Video For ‘T Schrickelik Tempeest Dutch metal band inspired by hometown history of ruined cathedral

Dutch metal moloch Bloodgod, featuring (former) members of Disquiet, Hymir and Nuestros Derechos, drops a brand new music video for ‘t Schrickelik Tempeest, meaning 'the horrible tempest' in old Dutch.

The song, with a black metal vibe and Dutch lyrics, is featured on Bloodgod latest release ‘Catharsis’. It was inspired by the violent storm of August 1, 1674 that hit the episcopal cathedral in the band’s hometown Utrecht and turned it into ruins. The rubble then remained for over 150 years.

Following the release of their debut ‘Pseudologia Phantastica’ (2013), Bloodgod shared the stage with Can of Worms, Cryptopsy, Skeletal Remains, and Terrorizer among others, and played several festivals including Angelfest Doetinchem and Frisian Brotherhood Fest.

On June 30th, Bloodgod will perform at Big Ass Metal Fest #21 in Utrecht, together with Agonized from Germany and Suffocation Of Soul from Brazil, among others.
